Carmen Wong is a Nuke Compositor currently based in Los Angeles, California. 

Over the span of her career she has contributed to numerious projects in feature films, TV episodics, animated shorts and commercials. Wong has been credited on over forty projects as a Compositor, Paint and Rotoscope Artist. A few of her most recent credited projects include: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Hawkeye, King Richard, Black Widow, Army of the Dead, Creed II and Little Women to name a few. While primarily using The Foundry's Nuke to composite the images seen in theatre's and on television, Carmen is also well versed in rotoscoping using Silhouette FX and tracking with Mocha Pro. Starting her career in Boston, Massachusetts as a Paint/Roto artist and then moving her way into the Compositing department. During that time, she was able to gain skillsets in rotoscoping, 2D planar tracking, advanced paint cleanup, retimes, keying on films and commercials. Moving to California in 2019 and gaining more experience working in film and episodic television, she has learned to integrate more complex live action plates with CGI and compositing full CGI environments.

Prior to her career, Wong earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Visual Effects from Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. Additionally, she recieved a Bachelors of Science degree in Digital Media/Computer Graphics from Springfield College in Massachusetts. During her education Wong focused mainly in the creation of 3D environments, using Autodesk's Maya, Mudbox, RenderMan and MentalRay. As a result, not only does she have experience in the creation of 2D imagery but also has a good understanding of the foundations of what goes into making 3-Dimensional worlds.

What makes Visual Effects such an interesting field to Wong is it's rapily changing technology. With each new advancement there is always something new to learn, which makes each project an exciting challenge to tackle. Carmen has been an active member of the Visual Effects Society since 2019.

When she's away from the computer Carmen enjoy's relaxing in the outdoors from hiking, kayaking, skiing/snowboarding, and SCUBA diving as a PADI certified diver. She has driven across United States from east to west and has flown around the world to Asia and Europe; she is inspired by the world and people she meets. Having become an avid traveler, she love's exploring all the various cultures and places she possible can.
